Process of Therapy
Dr. Hiler empowers clients to gain increased satisfaction from their lives. The goal of therapy is to handle adversity adaptively and build full and meaningful lives embedded with values and beliefs. This goal is accomplished by safely exploring feelings, thoughts, and behaviors in a supportive, non-judgmental environment. Clients' enhanced sense of safety will enable them to let go of self-defeating patterns, procrastination, negative energy, and accept all parts of themselves so they may live as integrated "whole" people. Clients will learn to create options and have strategies to achieve their goals, build plans of action with timelines, explore resistance, and follow through with their game plans. Clients' confidence will bloom as they reach their full potentials and experience life as the best versions of themselves.
